Long-distance move from Utah to Illinois

Worst experience of my life

I planned on moving from Utah to Illinois. It was a pretty big move. I paid a portion up front and later found I was not able to move at that time. I called the company and asked to be refunded. They said that I could be refunded only a portion of what I had paid, which is fine because I agreed to that, however they told me I first had to write an email to request that my move be canceled so that I could get a voucher for a move later on. I did what was asked and spoke and called them back. Then they told me... "You canceled your move. sorry we cant do anything for you." so the kept my money (hundreds of dollars) and refused to give me the voucher that they had promised me once I wrote the email I was TOLD to write. They are LIARS and I am reporting them for theft. I have the contracts that say I am able to get some of that money back. I have nothing but time.... I will continue to pester them and make reports. Their management is rude and disrespectful.

Professional, punctual, amazing customer service and stress free

Moving can stress anyone out especially moving from Oklahoma to Florida. My agent Jordan Mason was amazing with getting everything set up with my move. The professionalism and courtesy that I received was above and beyond what I could imagine. This company is God sent, everything went smoothly with the move from packing to set up and I can’t thank them enough for making my move literally stress free. I definitely recommended this company and I definitely recommend working with Jordan. I would give y’all 10 stars if I could. Thank you and your company for all you do.

Long-distance move from Waite Park, MN to Toulon, IL

Terrible service, shady company

I got the run around trying to find out when movers would arrive. When I was finally able to update my inventory I found out that Dominic had entered some of our items as smaller, like our living room furniture was listed as patio furniture, which then increased the size and cost of our original quote. I ended up paying almost $2000 more. But by the time I was able to talk to Eric I was 2 days from our out of state move and backed in to a corner.

I was told movers would be at our home Friday afternoon, they didn't show up until 7pm. Like I'm not in the process of moving and have nothing else to do but sit at home waiting for movers to arrive. The movers told me they would arrive at our new home Monday at 3 pm, they didn't show up until the following Friday. We slept on the floor for a week with 2 small children. No one returns phone calls.

When they did finally come they had broken my husband's dresser, dinged up our brand new $1300 wooden bunk beds. I asked them to wrap them and was told they don't wrap beds. Broke my heirloom jars. I've moved these items myself before and never broken anything. They must have been really tossing things around to do this much damage.

I was told by the guys that delivered our items I had 30 days to file a claims form then he ran out the door as fast as he could. No one set anything up or put any of our furniture back together, staging was something we were promised in our " full service" moving quote. We did not receive full service what so ever.

I paid this company $5000 to break my things and give me the run around. I don't expect to get a claims form at this point. It's been over a week, the carrier company doesn't exist in a Google search, no one responds to emails and the phone number disconnects if you don't dial an extension, which I don't have. This is all very shady, I'm surprised I recieved any of our things at all.

Definitely do not recommend.

Long-distance move from California to New York

Don't Get Scammed Like I have!

FYI Homesafe Transit is a broker company and not the actual company that will move your stuff! I got a quote to move from CA to NY. Initial quote on 11/06 from sales person Jarrod Crooney was $3060.01, on 11/13 I received a call from Homesafe Transit’s "quality assurance" person (Camron Smith) and was told we have enough space on the truck so add all item you think you might want to take, and we can remove them during moving if need be. The original items given to sales person Jarrod were all changed to XXL by Camron and the new price became $8199.99! I told Camron to cancel my order, and I was told I can't and would have to forfeit my deposit of $1104.99 made on 11/06. I called their office as soon as they opened on Monday 11/15 and after several calls, and false promises to call back with a resolution, I finally called them after waiting for hours, and was told by (Grace, claimed to be supervisor) they will not refund my deposit! This company is a total scam. If you are moving, save yourself the headache and either sell your stuff or rent a moving truck and move your stuff yourself!

Bad Business

These people picked up my things on November 21st as of this date December 16th my furniture was to be delivered on DECEMBER 2nd I still don’t have my furniture every time I called they tell they would I to contact the drive and never call me back. This woman name [NAME EDIT] was very rude. I’ve never been about to speech to a supervisor or dispatch concerning my things. The person who picked my furniture up claim I had 2200 sq ft of furniture. My things where in storage which was a 10 by 20 =200sq ft. They did not bring any blankets nothing to protect my furniture. The guy who was in charge said I owe another $1600 dollars I told put it all back he said I would loose my $1654.96. He said I will charge you another $1000. So I gave him another $500. When the movers when through weight station they were flagged because none of them had a driver license. So the Supervisor called and asked did know these people yes. He said beware you might not get your furniture. He told me if I don’t to call him back and he will help me he has all of their information. I was told my [NAME EDIT] I would have my furniture by December 6th through 8 of December.. I still don’t have my furniture. On Monday December 13th [NAME EDIT] called saying my furniture will be there in 7 to 10 [NAME EDIT] days..please please do not use this company they are scammers.. I asked this woman who worked the company [NAME EDIT] would she help me or be there she said to the end of I’ve email I’ve called to speak to her and I always get [NAME EDIT].

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DON’T USE THIS COMPANY THEY CLAIM THEY HAVE BEEN IN THE BUSINESS FOR 50 YEARS AND THEY ARE THERE FOR YOU 247 WHEN I CALLED ON THE WEEKEND NO ONE ANSWER THE PHONE.

Bad Business Practice

This company is making money scamming you they quote me a price than movers finished put my things on the truck. The head guy Joe told I have over 535 cube feet. My storage was 10 by 20 he’s telling I had over 2000 sq ft of storage. Well that was not true My house was only 1700 sq ft. I told Joe I didn’t have another $1600. That what he wanted to charge me. I end up giving him additional $500. There was three guys on the truck it took them 2.5 hours to take my things out of my storage. I had movers to put my things in and it was only 2 guys it took one hours for the. TheMovers didn’t have any covers for the furniture they had nothing? On Monday Joe calls tell me he needs me to call weight station. The reason I had to call None of three people had a driver. I was told by Supervisor it I don’t get my furniture he has everything I need to file a report with the police. Against this company. I believe they quote you on cube feet. Than when movers get there they charge more money and I really think Jessica and the movers work together and split the extra money. I gave them a list with all my thinks they don’t by that list at all? They only used cube feet Not by my inventory.

Let’s talk about office personnel “Jessica” she took my order and told me I can call her she would be there from the beginning to the end AS OF THIS DAY SHE HAS’NT ANSWER ANY OF EMAILS OR CALLS.. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ALSO BAD THE GIRL ASHLEY IS SO RUDE. SHE TOLD ME TODAY SHE CAN’T CONTACT DRIVER TO FIND OUT WHERE MY FURNITURE WAS. She claims she can’t contact them everyday I ask Why? she was Rude saying if I told me last week my furniture between Monday & Wednesday of this week. SHE CLAIMS I SHOULD HAVE MY FURNITURE BY Wednesday 12/8/21. They also advertise they are on call 247 that’s a HUGH LIE “SCAMMERS” I tried calling it goes to some man answer machine I never heard from anyone who works for this company.. I’m either on another call or I’m away from desk.

If you are looking for a Mover PLEASE PLEASE DON’T GO WITH THE HOMESAFE THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!!!

WORST SERVICE EVER

They sent me a quote for $1670 and two days before my move, increased it to $3300. John Miller was the person who provided me the estimate and then Camron Smith comes up with the new amount of $3300. Multiple calls and emails were sent and made to reach John Miller but he did not respond and Camron tells me that me that he cant let me talk to John and he can solve. My deposit of $700 is gone and they don't want to return that. I'm looking for a lawyer to take legal action against these thieves. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DONT GET INVOLVED WITH THESE LIARS

Long-distance move from Alexandria, VA to Memphis, TN

Deceitful & scam company

I will keep the facts simple. I called for a quote, realizing it was a broker and thinking that they would shop around for a quality good cost contractor to move about a 1500 square-foot home.

I reviewed the contract, signed the contract, and asked for a specific date a month in advance for pick up and delivery. I realized I would have some more but nothing unreasonable as far as the amount after packing. When I finally reached a customer service guy at the company, he sent me a text I told him I had some revisions which I knew would increase the price some. He asked me to text it I did no response so I emailed it still no response I emailed the second time is now we are only a few days out for pick up but no response with the increased price would be. To my complete surprise it was almost double what I was quoted on the phone but not double the price.

The company agreed I could pay credit card on the front end & the backend with no additional fees. The movers showed up on a Saturday at 5 PM (which was four hours later than they originally said ), told me that I had way more stuff that it was heavy which is not true( I had no fridge, w/d, heavy sofa etc) And that they needed to charge me a bulk price in addition to the extra poundage, when they arrived late in the evening one was sick so that left one person to load. The truck did not have a ramp. They advised I had to pay the credit card fee . But at this point I’m now committed because the company has my deposit and I need to move out of my rental house. The truck itself was in poor shape with a tail light broken and the workers were rude and very unprofessional. I had to call Candace read at the Homesafe Transit company . At that point I should have just paid another months rent but I figured everything is loaded will get it moved. They called me two weeks later on a Friday night at 9 PM saying they would be delivering on Sunday which was Mother’s Day. I had to renegotiate a different date as I was not in town. When they arrived A day later than they agreed to, they were five hours later than they said they would, they wanted the balance paid to them in cash. Which I refused. They actually only had half of my load and told me they were doing me a favor that they weren’t going to charge me a repacking fee since I wasn’t available on Sunday for delivery. I refuse to pay cash at first but they had all of my furniture and half of the down payment.

I Paid half the balance in cash they unloaded things mainly the boxes. It’s at that point I realize none of my furniture was actually in their van. It was not a moving truck. Again they were unprofessional and rude. They continuously told me that if anything might be damaged it was my fault on packing, which is not true because I have packed many times many things without them being broken. They promised they would be back the next morning at 8 AM. They didn’t arrive until 1 PM. I had to pay rest of the cash before they would even open up the truck. I called their parent company long distance van lines a.k.a. prestige moving. I told him that I felt like I was being scammed and that they were lacking integrity. They told me well they’ll just pack up and keep the rest of my stuff. Almost every bit of my furniture was damaged once it was taken off they offered me a very small less than $200 discount for the hassle and broken things. And they were in a rush to leave the house. Because they were so late and I was still working the next day when I started checking my furniture and belongings and noticed it was all damaged I called home safe transit no response. I called the driver and that parent company for prestige movers and no response.

I believe this is part of their scam and the bait and switch is that they are late they have your stuff it’s hostage by the time it gets there after they’re so rude and unprofessional and they get it all in the house then you’re just ready for them to be gone and then when you check things out they are non-responsive at all.

So do not be fold by any of the positive reviews that are on any website for this company. They are a bait, switch, and scam company. They take advantage of the fact that they reel you in then you pay higher prices then quoted( even taking into account the fact that you always know you’re going to pay a little bit more because you don’t pack exactly accurately) then when you have a problem or a complaint, you are SOL as they have your money your household goods and no way to seek restitution for the damage that they caused to your household goods. I am not an angry nor unhappy person and I did my research on the front end but save yourself the hassle and go with a reputable high class company that allows you to pay by credit card and will do a virtual or on site walk-through of all of your household goods prior to a contract

Can I give 0 Stars? That's What They Deserve.

DO NOT USE HOMESAFE !!!!!!

The coordinator's quote was over $1,000 off. So instead of spending less than $2k, I spent over $3k. When I called to complain they just kept passing me around and connecting me with someone different. When I spoke with Dispatch, he said he would call me back the next day with our next steps but didn't... so I had to call him. The lack of communication is sickening and their inaccuracy with the quote cost me much more than I budgeted for.

Additionally, the movers they hired to move my stuff, broke my couch, lost a piece of my nightstand, and ignored my calls for 2 weeks. I have been trying to file a claim about my damaged and missing furniture but can't even get a hold of them. Disgusting. They do not deserve anyone's business.

Horrible customer service!

I received a quote to move my stuff 400 miles. The estimate was for 880 cf, and was going to cost just under $5000. I put down a $1700 deposit as was required. Within a couple hours I received another estimate that was cheaper for more space. I reviewed the contract and then notified Home Safe in writing that I was terminating the contract. Three and a half weeks later I have yet to receive my deposit back. I have contacted the company however I get the run around and they keep telling me they need more time to close my file.

Don't Do It - Cancelled - Services not Rendered-Refund Difficult

Don’t do it…cancelled at the last minute...services not rendered...difficult to get a refund.

U-Haul was wonderful! Homesafe Transit...not so much. Why U-Haul? Because Homesafe Transit cancelled the evening of pickup...you read that right, they cancelled. We were forced to get two U-Haul trailers, load, and tow. In the long run, U-Haul was less stressful, much more dependable, and considerably less expensive.

Here is the sad saga of our ordeal:

Ordered service on the 22nd of February with a 2-day envelope for pick up on the 14th or 15th of March. This was not a large move, only personal boxed items, odds and ends that amounted to the size of a normal garage bay about 4 feet high (we sold our house turn-key including furniture). Drop off was a storage unit. Easy. Michael Romero was great, explained everything, assured me that all would go well, and he would be available throughout the process and took a deposit of ⅓ of the proposed bill via credit card. Keep in mind that when/if they ever do pick up and drop off you will have to pay the pickup and then the delivery portions of the bill in cash. Michael was responsive and available...that was until moving day. We were supposed to get a call 2 days before pickup to go over the list and the final price from Eric. Crickets. First red flag.

Since they hadn’t called, I called Michael two days before the scheduled pickup. He was surprised that we had not heard from the coordinator and contacted him (Eric Martin). Eric eventually called me, and we went over the list, price went up considerably (we did have more, but not a significant amount more - but what choice did we have at this time?), and he tried to defer the pickup date. Two more red flags. I could not change the date. We had escrow closing based on their 2-day pickup envelope. I couldn’t negotiate pricing; we were contractually committed, and it was all scheduled, not like I could cancel them, right?

Eric said he could pick up on the 15th between 3 and 6 pm. Pick up time of 6 pm rolls around...crickets. I called Michael when the pick up didn’t occur, and his line was disconnected. I tried Eric on his line, and there was no answer. I then called the main line, and Eric answered. Eric said that he could not be there, and he cancelled. This is about 6:30 in the evening. No thanks to Homesafe leaving us stranded, we were left to scramble and figure things out on our own. Enter U-Haul.

Eric stated that he would send an email confirming the deposit refund. I didn’t get it until I called the next day and insisted on it. Eric said it would be processed in 7 to 9 days. Didn’t happen. Had to call again. Eric stated that he would look into it and asked for 48 hours. I immediately called Michael who was back in the office and was not even aware that the company had cancelled our pickup. Michael apologized profusely and got the refund issued. I just got an email indicating that it is being processed (credit card statement indicated processed on the 31st of March).

This note came along with the refund notice...

Your refund is being processed in the amount of $XXX.XX if you have any questions queries or concerns feel free to call anytime.

PS: Please leave a review on your experience from our initial hello up to this point, we would appreciate if you can leave out that we refunded you. Our policy is strict on refunds. :) This will help our business and also help you by entering your name into a lottery for a $500 visa card on 4/01/2021.

To repeat:

Don’t do it…cancelled at the last minute...services not rendered...difficult to get a refund.

Terrible company!!

If u could give them zero stars and leave a comment, I would. They lie. They quote you for the minimal to take your high deposit & then when the drivers/movers arrive they increase the move entirely by $3k-$4k. Unfortunately after explaining every detail of items to move to Jordan Mason, he quoted me, he proceeded to say “you’re getting a big truck so don’t worry about it”. First hiccup was the movers arrived a day early with no notification at all, while we had company over for the last day in the house. They left & returned the actual scheduled day, and jacked up the cost to over $3k!!! After speaking to the horrid manager named Eric, when I initially got on the phone with him, he was very defensive and did not let me explain what all happened that weekend, he kept interrupting me, so I already knew what type of company and person I was about to deal with, of course in defense mode I asked him to let me speak, he did not. He said my money was absolutely not refundable & in fact his sarcastic words were “did your husband even read the little terms and agreement by the little box before he checked it?”. Professional right? He proceeded to get unprofessional, I apologized several times and said I know it’s not exactly his fault, then when I got upset after he got extremely ghetto, he threatened to hang up on me. Instead of sitting on the phone arguing with him, I straight up asked can you refund the money? He said “ABSOLUTELY NOT”, I said well then what am I on the phone for? He is completely unprofessional. Save the headache because his exact words were “no move is not stressful” excuse me sir but your website says you’re suppose to make it stress free!!!!

We stuck with them, our mistake

Our original shipping estimate was one price, and we called several times trying to see what the new estimate might be, Eric was always busy, then he calls us the week before we move, and with the add on, jacks the price up over over a grand, he was always busy when we called. We never have shipped that much had we know before had, and Eric had plenty of to time to call us.

Awful

Booked homesafe for a cross country move. They made the whole thing sound too good to be true, and it was.

They quoted me 2500 , which was really cheap comparatively speaking..of course on the day of the move that nearly doubled, because "I had too many boxes" meanwhile I was told on multiple occasions leading up to the move that "as long as you don't add a grand piano, you'll be fine" they also told me I'd have my stuff in a week or two...showed up today 6 weeks later. The company they outsourced my move to was also awful.

Repeatedly saying "we contractually can do this, and contractually Don have to deliver for 30 business days"

I tried talking to homesafe multiple times these last 5 or so weeks, and apparently my problems were above everyone's pay grade.

Absolutely horrible company, pay for professionals. Avoid at all cost.

Long-distance move from Irvine, CA to Vernon Rockville, CT

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!

This has been the worst experience for us ever. We have moved 5 times within the US so far and this has been the most awful experience ever.

We still have not received our stuff. It has been more than 3 weeks and we have paid $5000 already. We have no money left for anything.

We were quoted $3200 initially by someone named Michael and we were happy that it was so low, that we signed the initial deposit with $1370.. Then a day before the move, there was a quality call where the dispatch manager Eric quoted $4900 (because there was more stuff apparently - which we already provided to Michael).

We couldn't get our $1370 back so we had to proceed with $4900. Then the mover (Zano Moving and Storage) came and he showed an agreement of $5700. Honestly, I don't know what was happening here. It was the day of the move - we had to leave the state the next day - what could we do with our stuff. I showed the mover the agreement of $4900 and then we negotiated (which was another bad experience) and then he said $5400.

What could we do now? He said pay half now and pay the rest at the time of delivery - So we gave a check for $1870. He loaded all our stuff. He put down the delivery date as 7/25. We still have not received our stuff. Last week the mover (Zano Moving) called us and told us that the check bounced and was canceled. He even sent us a picture of the canceled check(crossed out). Told us we needed to pay $1900 initial payment and the rest at delivery. We were so stupid and trusting. So we did a money transfer of $1900. Then a couple of days later, the mover (Zano Moving) told us that his office mistakenly deposited the check and if thats the case, then there will be no balance at delivery.

So now we have paid $5000 to "Home safe Transit" and "Zano Moving and Storage". Our stuff is still not delivered. What is happening here - we have no idea.

This was all our fault for not looking at the reviews of "Home safe Transit" and getting reeled in with their low quotes in the beginning.

So now we are out $5000 and our stuff is not delievered. We are still sleeping on the floor with no stuff.

Dear Homesafe Transit -

Unless you will refund our money, please don't bother replying to this review. There is nothing you can say to make up for the fact that there are some smooth talking sales operators at Homesafe transit who reel you in with their low pricing quotes and then we are stuck and cheated!!

Our own fault for being so naive and stupid. Honestly, we believe in a true God who knows what we went through because of "HomeSafe Transit" and "Zano Moving and Storage". We pray that those who cheated/robbed us will know what it feels like and will never do so with anyone else again.

To anyone else reading this, please don't ever choose Homesafe Transit or Zano Moving and Storage for your own peace of mind!

Use at Your Peril!

I wish I had read the BBB comments prior to contracting with Homesafe Transit. Only a single customer complaint has been satisfied and that after the BBB lowered the companies rating to an ‘F”. Please note that all other complaints have been blown off by the company. This complaint reports further poor business practices by Homesafe Transit.

A ‘Binding” contract was entered into for a carrier pack of house hold goods and shipping on 16 June 2021. The move was to be done between 5 and 10 July 2021. The company was to call with the carrier identity and actual date 72 hours in advance. After extensive efforts to reach the company they finally responded on July4th, well under the timeline. Eric, the customer service representative (note he had been named in previous complaints) said the company had not properly priced the contract and increased the price 39% from just under $13,000 to nearly $18.000. They stated this was due to the Homesafe Transit Sales Representative not putting in all the correct pricing. Additionally they added a new charge “Origin Destination Fee” of $1,000 to locate a moving company for the task after having previously assigned a carrier. I was intimidated into accepting these changes as we had sold our house and must be out on time, have closed on a new home nearly 2,000 miles away and have to be at work in the new location in a very short time. The trauma caused by the move that I believed was all in order might be cancelled, invoked considerable panic and frustration. Homesafe Transit doesn’t really care as they have worded their contract that they keep the money received, ($6,300), none of which goes to the moving company, however will credit it towards a future move. Their binding allows them to restructure the pricing if there are changes in the inventory or new services added. There were some minor inventory changes. The bulk of the increase was not resultant of inventory changes, but of poor contract writing by the company. Specifically writing a contract for a full pack by carrier and then not properly pricing for it, nor properly pricing for bulk items and not incorporating the Origin Destination Fee.

Company problems evidenced in this case demonstrate that Homesafe Transit does not properly train their sales rep (in the case of the sales rep associated with this contract was provided only four hours training and had only been there a few short weeks), does not incorporate any quality review of their proposed contracts for potential mistakes or oversights. Accepts no responsibility for not being in compliance of the contract or placing their customers in adverse situations. I have been in contact with the company and they will not respond to my proposals of resolution, return any calls. You should deal with this company at your peril. There are other moving brokers with a better sense of integrity. Make sure you review the BBB evaluation, I made a serious error in judgment by not reviewing the BBB information that was available.

HomeSafe contracted with Good Success to carry out the move. Good Success subcontracted with Rhema. When Good Success was contracted they did not state that they had subcontracted their contract. Rhema will state that they have the goods, but not state where it is located and all their delivery dates provided have not been met.

HomeSafe advertises that good will be delivered in 8 to 18 days. To date it has been 44 days with not delivery date provided.

Long-distance move from Los Angeles, CA to Tucson, AZ

Three reasons to AVOID HomeSafe Transit

1. HomeSafe purposefully underquotes you to secure your contract: I ended up paying 36% more than I was originally quoted - even though I didn’t end up bringing some of my biggest furniture items on the truck (two dressers, nightstands, and bookshelves). They have an incentive to underestimate how much space you will take up on a truck, so that they can outbid other moving companies and secure your initial deposit. This means that you will end up paying much more than the quote that HomeSafe gives you. Be prepared for an increase in thousands of dollars.

2. HomeSafe works with sketchy and unprofessional carriers: We were not given information about our carrier until the day they showed up. The carrier we were assigned has notoriously negative online reviews, which they lived up to in our experience. The carrier added on hundreds of dollars of unexpected fees, and the movers tried to make a deal with us that they would waive the fees if we tipped them directly. They also broke multiple pieces of our furniture.

3. HomeSafe’s customer support is unreliable and rude: After our totally unprofessional and disappointing moving experience, I tried multiple times over the course of weeks to reconcile the situation with HomeSafe’s customer support team. The staff was dismissive, rude, and eventually stopped answering our calls.

HomeSafe Transit is a fraudulent company that needs to be investigated by the Better Business Bureau and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.

Horrible SCAMMING company!!

The worst company and service ever!! Do NOT hire this company, they are full of scams and "hidden fees" and will leave you stranded to pay for everything last minute and say "there is nothing we can do". I was given a quote and they day of the pickup I was charged almost $1000 extra. Does not make any sense bc I actually ended up not taking the largest furniture items. After trying to contact the lady who I had been in contact with up until the pick up date, she mysteriously disappeared, there was no way to contact her via email or phone... 1st red flag. After multiple attempt to fix this issue the "manger" tells me the quote was so much different bc many items, that I KNOW I reported on my estimate, where apparently not on their estimate. This lady deleted several of my items just to give me the price I was looking for. To make matters worse, a day before my delivery, the third party calls me to tell me that there will be a $300 fee bc they are coming in a full-size 18-wheeler and will need a "shuttle" to move all the stuff. THAT IS NOT MY FAULT. I called Homesafe Transit and they wiped their hands clean and said they were not paying that fee. It has been a nightmare dealing with them! HORRIBLE, AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE! DONT EVER HIRE THEM!!

Refund denied for move i cancelled

I was sold a contract by Brock (head) dispatcher.Brock promised me that if anything changed, I can cancel the move with a minimal cancellation fee. When I contacted them they denied my refund 0f $871.00. Total ripoff as they haven't done nothing and they get to keep my money. They said they will credit me for up to a year toward a new move date I will never use. Do not fall for their verbal lies.

Cons

Biggest mistake was not checking outside review sites & hiring this co. Brock & Eric were the biggest fast talking scammers. My initial quote given by Brock was the way he reeled me in. I gave him the items I had packed & wasn't packed. The invoice didn't have alot of the items listed but I figured it was listed under something else. I explained 2 Brock I wanted to send pics because I didn't want any surprise fees on moving day. He told me to send them & he would get back to me later that day. I didn't hear back from him so the nxt morning I called and he was to busy to speak with me. I ended up speaking to Customer service Ashley the that informed me the pic were received & will be reviewed. That never happened, I didn't hear back from them until I received a txt the day before my pickup saying they've been trying to reach me to go over my inventory & if I dont respond my moving date will be cancelled. I had already confirmed moving date with the movers. It was just to rush for them raise the fees & total cost of the move so their 2nd deposit that I was unaware of to get bigger. Once I gave the update I was charged almost double of the original cost. Every conversation was don't worry I would have enough space after this new update. Before the movers arrived another deposit for Homesafe, then I was told I needed plastic covers for all my mattresses & box springs, no boxes the size of a shoe box or smaller. I was never given this info. before hand. Their cost for boxes & plastic covers were expensive. I was going to home Depot but Eric said the drivers were on the way & they didn't show for hours. That was just to increase the cost again. When you try to reach Brock or Eric the one that did the inventory I was forwarded to Customer Service that is rude & just tell you your cost went up because your inventory increased. The Customer Service Reps. have no idea what was discussed all the say is what is scripted. I asked for a Mgr. not possible. The end result I paid almost 3x my initial quote. It was that or lose my deposit of 1490 & have my property moved to a warehouse & be sold. ****Beware***

Beware of Company- I do not recommend

Everything seemed great in the beginning until payment of $1289 was made. Cynthia appeared so wonderful and responsive. She assured me that all three payments can be made with the credit card I used for the deposit. I clarified and confirmed with her and she said it was ok. She even offered a cash discount but I explained that we only wanted to pay via credit card. My move is scheduled for Monday and its currently Friday. I have not received any calls. I called 1x yesterday and 3x today ( Cynthia's number). I e-mailed and no response. I spoke to a lady in customer service (Whitney.) who was border-line rude and assured me that they was no-one above her that I could speak to.She said I had to pay via cash, cashiers checkonMonday. I advised her that I was assured that I could pay by credit card during pick-up by Cynthia. She said all the people were gone and there was no one to speak to. Advised her to text/page and reach out to the owners of someone above . I will update if I hear from them.

SCAM ARTISTS

They are literally the worst company we have ever done business with. We are reporting them to multiple places because they are scam artists. The sales rep promises you no additional fees and white glove service and you get exactly the opposite. They say what you want to hear to get your business and then the good customer service goes out the window. When they want your money they get back to you right away and call you and text, but when you need to discuss the logistics of your move no one gets back you. Cynthia was the sales rep and and then we spoke to Ashley, Candance, Cameron who all stated different things. They refused to let us speak to any mangers or supervisors. We asked to speak to Eric numerous times and they refused to let us speak to him. They said he was busy and he could not help us. WORST CUSTOMER SERIVCE! We had storage added on our quote, three days before the move the company called me and said they do not see storage. Then all of sudden they were scrambling to figure it out. We had to pay for it and they said they would reimburse us. They did not add storage to our quote. The sales rep stated it was free and then they acted as if they were doing us a favor by coordinating it for us. Ashley called her own colleague a liar and all the calls are recorded so this can be traced back because she stated storage was always included. We have proof it was not. We were charged a insane amount of money for sub par service. They wait until you have no choice but to use them because your move is in two days and then strong arm you into giving the more money. Our items were broken and we had missing boxes. We called to schedule our redelivery to our final destination and the customer service manger was horrendous. We were told Eric would take care of it and they refused to let us speak to him. They said it could take up to 30 days to schedule the redelivery. When I asked where it states that she said the contract, we reviewed the contract (which is really just a sales quote) on the phone together and it stated that no where. Then she said oh no the contract says 7 business days. She lied right to me on the phone and had no explanation as to why she was lying. We called them well in advance and never heard from them. We had to figure out redelivery ourselves. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this horrendous company. They are awful and have terrible customer service. They just want your money and do not care about you or your stuff. I was forced to give them one star, they should have negative stars.
